Original writing is diverse and offers a freshness with each song that surprises at times. Davey Lee delivers his brand of original twang with great live shows which support the bands recordings with true passion.

Gill Goode takes the lead vocal microphone and taunts listeners with her sassy brass that sits well in the groove of all her songs. Gill twists through soft tones and hard grit performances from track to track ,treating us to different but equally rich vocal tones across the various textures, be it silk or hard rock. Gill's powerful and effortless vocal delivery mixed with thumpin' upright bass and crazy beat drums creates a highly contagious up tempo blues experience.

No doubt about it, the roots are there from the blues you know and expect, yet, the Davey Lee Goode band confronts us with a delivery tinted with a tasteful amount of Rock yet twisted in an interesting way through  Rockabilly influences as well.  Drawing from Influences such as Slim Harpo, Tarheel Slim. Dr Ross, Little Walter and John Lee Hooker, the bands own flavor of the Blues genre continues to evolve.

It's not the usual stereo type blues so don't go expecting that, what it is though is exciting and it carries energy enough to flatten an Energizer Bunny.
